We CAN prevent child abuse and neglect.

The Children’s Trust Fund (CTF) leads statewide efforts to keep children safe from abuse and neglect by strengthening families. We focus on Massachusetts' most precious resource — our children.

Our Impact

CTF's Healthy Families Massachusetts (HFM) Home Visiting Program results in:

66 percent lower rate of child abuse for HFM teen mothers.
83 percent of HFM mothers enrolled in school or graduated, a rate significantly higher than a national study showing only 53 percent of teen mothers graduating.
Children in HFM on average were developmentally on target despite national research that shows children of teen parents are at greater risk for developmental delays.
